Phew. Getting so many people together on the same day at the same hour is hard these days. But then this is special. Everyone is volunteering for Shop4Rwanda’s very first location photo shoot. Jackie is fretting about the light. She’s doing the photography today and sun has been forecast between 1 and 3pm. But the model phones to say she’ll be late and now we’re worried we’ll lose the sun.Amy meanwhile missamyphipps@googlemail.com lays-out all her lovely accessories and props. She’s styling today’s shoot and confesses to being the world’s most meticulous ironer as she puts the finishing, hot touches to a brightly patterned silk scarf. There’s a knock at the door and Meg meg.cl.price@googlemail.com who’s modeling today, rushes in dumping her bags and stripping off layers as she rushes up the long corridor. We all hurridley drape beads, scarves and necklaces over her and quickly work out 3 outfits we’re all happy with. Then it’s into the car, speeding down to the beach to try and catch the last of today’s blue skies.
By the time we reach the bandstand on Brighton’s beach the clouds part and we witness some gorgeous blue skies, all punctuated by white fluffy clouds. With that, it’s all over. And we all breath a massive sigh of relief that… we did it!
